IS BIG, FOLKS!! Fox is listing the new Tick
series in their fall
line-up! I don't yet exactly when the new season begins,
but as soon as I hear, I'll pass it on. For now, we can look
forward to the Tick every Thursday night at 8:30 PM / 7:30

Continuum: "A representative of the
Fox network told The Continuum on Thursday that The Tick live-action
series won't be premiering this spring. The Tick, based on
Ben Edlund's comic book, will now premiere either in the summer,
or more likely, this fall. The Fox representative said that
The Tick's premiere has not been scheduled. Fox had begun
promoting the series, even with spots on its highly rated
Temptation Island, but the spots only said the show was coming
soon. The network has also released the pilot episode to the
press. The delay doesn't necessarily seem to be a reflection
of show's quality, but might be a safeguard for Fox against
the potential actors' strike." |
NEC now has
an online
Tick comic, a new page will be added every week!
The Tick
IS still on - for some lucky ducks!

The main
site seems to down, but THIS
precious tidbit is still in place. It's the April 5th production
call sheet for the new series — it lists the entire cast!
(Notice that Jud Rees isn't listed as ARTHUR & Liz Vassey's
character isn't AMERICAN WOMAN.) I found out it about on Barry's
Board, it pays to check it out when you can. I'll look for
more photos now that I have more names!

TICK TV NEWS! Excerpt
from NEC update: "Principal shooting on the Tick TV Pilot
has begun and is moving along quite swimmingly. Some fans
have been grumbling about the name changes to some of the
characters. But this is unavoidable. Fox Family, and Fox Kids,
owns the right to some of the characters and they just wouldn't
give them up. Hey, this is Hollywood we're dealing with, so
there should be no surprise about this. Let's all hope for
quality here and let the rest of the chips fall where they
may."
